In some cases there are legal notices to be addressed when having a legal complaint and any complainant who fails to follow those procedures does so at his own jeopardy.

Having gone through the necessary court procedures to obtain a legal notice permit, the notice you deliver the defendant (either seller or buyer) with all the complaints. Accusations or charges that have been filed at the court and this legal notice must be personally served to the accused.

Said in a different manner, the legal notice must be directly handled appropriately with the respect to the accused counter party and NOT to a 3-rd party (like a friend, middleman or family) 

Legal notice allows the defendant to prepare properly for court. This involves hiring a lawyer and legal documents . Until the law court is satisfied that all parties have received adequate and proper notice so that they may take the necessary actions to protect their rights, the court will not proceed with your case.

When legal notice is not served or not proceeded in the following situations :

1) When there is a "setback" - In other words if there is a delay in the delivery process

2) The court order is in favor of the defendant or statements have been dismissed

3) The company does not have the accurate data in order to contact that person
